That Lily Guy Down the StreetLen and Rita Giesbrecht, Winnipeg. At the market since 2005Our business started from a gardening hobby that grew out of control. I bought my first Lilies from a vendor at the St Norbert Farmers' Market many years ago. I'm the type of gardener that can't throw out the smallest bulb, I would pot them up and finally when the driveway started to fill up my wife Rita said ... "Enough, use them or loose them". So we came full circle, became a vendor at the Market, and the business grew from there. We sell Irises for early season bloom, Lilies for mid season bloom and Daylilies for late season. We have something new blooming throughout the summer. We have a large selection of named varieties and are adding new ones every year. We live 2 blocks from the Market and can be reached at 261-9832. Products: Irises, lilies and day lilies. |
