Dorothy and Anne custom make magnetic therapy jewelry at the market and orders can also be made for pick up. They have various colors of beads in varying sizes and can be made into various lengths. All of the beads in each piece are magnetic, i.e. there are no filler beads. High powered magnetic jewelry is also available. Many conditions may be relieved using magnetic therapy such as arthritis, joint pain, back aches, tendonitis, high blood pressure, chronic fatigue, headaches, insomnia, menstrual cramps and poor circulation. Victoria is quite the little entrepreneur! She began working at the market at the ripe old of seven. She started out with a small side table, alongside her mother’s and grandmother’s vendor. She comes from a “Family of Crafters!” Victoria hand makes all of her jewelry by herself! She has “memory wire” necklaces and bracelets. The bracelets are the top seller!

Cathy lived in Belgium for a while where she learned a weaving technique for crystal jewelry. She has been making this jewelry since 2003 and does many home parties as well as custom orders. She has many unique pieces and uses stones such as Russian jade, black onyx, Botswana and Amazonite. She also uses firepolished glass.

Liz and Jeannette started creating their jewellery as a hobby 3 years ago. As Family and friends began to wear their creations, more and more people became interested in buying some for themselves. They use Fiber optic and beautiful semi-precious stones with the high power magnetic hematite. The jewellery is made on stretch which allows for expansion and eliminates the need for a clasp.

Lori and Christopher have owned Redd Line Jewellery for 20 years. They are a family business and their three children are very involved! They hand-cut and polish all of the gemstones and hand-make the gold and silver jewelery. Most of their pieces are one of a kind! The stones they use come from all over the world and are absolutely CONFLICT FREE! They have many unique pieces such as their fork people necklace pendants–made out of recycled and shaped forks and also their spoon rings! They really have something for everyone! Susan started making jewelry as a child and has developed quite the talent for it! She’s a silversmith, does wirework and integrated stitch work. She creates her pieces with inspirations from nature with the use of various colours and beads. For her imported products, she only uses distributors that pay a living wage to the families in Bali and the Northern Hill Tribes of Thailand. She not only sells her products at the market but also at the Urban Day Spa, Small Indulgence and at various shows such as the Winnipeg Folk Festival.
